Love, or In Love?

It's been a while since I last blogged, not had much time or the patience to sit down and
write something.

I thought I would write something a bit more serious instead of the more comedic stuff I'm used to coming out with.
This has been on my mind quite a bit lately, not every spare instance I get, but enough. It centres solely around love. Now I know some people maybe thinking "love? what do you know about love, you are only 20, you have never been in love!" but I truly believe Iv experienced love. Iv experienced it, and like so many others, lost it. But in a way I'm glad I did, I'm glad that it allowed me to grow, and develop, but at the same time I regret that it had to happen to such an amazing person,
She stood by me no matter what, and honestly, on my part, I took her for granted, when what I should have been doing was proving how much I loved, cared and how special she truly was. Instead of trying to make her jealous, just so she could comfort my own self esteem and confidence issues I had. I'll always have something deep down inside me for this girl, no matter how hard I try to get over her, she will always have a place in my heart.
Unfortunate thing is that the way I treat her led her to break up with me, and we have never been able to be friends, not true friends, just mere acquaintances.

Ever since I was around 13/14, iv never been one of the 'lads', Iv always liked girls, but not the
type of guy to have meaningless flings. I'm more of a loving type of guy, I prefer to be in long term relationship's. I just love to be in love, that feeling of euphoria, that rush of adrenaline you get when you say "I love you for the first time" or when you see each other, or cuddle each other, tell one another your deepest darkest secrets, sharing your every twist and turn in life that you come too. I can't think of any emotion that is as strong, or has the same affect like what love does.
I think love, as a word, is thrown around without realising the true significance it has when it is said. I'll admit, I have been one to do this, but then I stopped. I stopped and thought to myself "what do I mean? when I say, I love you" It's at this point that I understood the damage I was doing by filling people with false hopes. Sometimes I would say it, and maybe not mean it. Maybe I meant it but not the way it was intended to be interpreted. I now have a clear definition, you may not agree with me on this, but when I say I love you, I do love you. I'm just not in Love. That's the difference. To love someone, can be on many levels, I may love you as a friend (on a platonic level). Anything after this I classify as being in love. There may not be much of a difference, but that's the way I see it.
I only really have two thing's in life which mean more to me than anything in existence, and that is my family and friends. I'm very selective, this is down to me not wanting to get hurt, hence why I have few but amazing friend's, and the same with family. Though the family side is more so down to them being "selective" and for whatever reason that is I respect that.

I would love to meet people who think on the same wavelength in terms of love and other things in life, I think I may have found someone like that now. She intrigues me, a lot! Some of the thing's she writes I can empathize fully with. The daringness to write with such sincerity and honesty, the only thing running through my mind, "I wish I could think like her, let alone write like her"
I would love to get to know her more, but I don't know what to do. For once I'm speechless, I usually have something to say, even if it is irrelevant. But I see her picture and...that's it.
People ask me "What do you look for in a girl?...What would your perfect girl look like?..." And I say the same thing each time, it's not what I see, though there has to be some physical attraction,
it's not what I hear, though the majority of what I base my feeling's about someone goes on there
personality. But even then, they can have an amazing personality, look absolutely stunning, and yet if I don't feel that 'connection' that so called 'butterfly' feeling deep down inside, that can be make or break for me. That is quite a hard truth for me to say I mean obviously the feeling has to be reciprocal on her part, I realize that. And I may come across selfish, but I can openly say that I am not. Don't we all want to be in love, to have that special someone to share things with, that one person you can cuddle up to and care for, that one person, that when your down can bring you right back up again. Don't we all just want to be n love?

Random, funny, or just dam right weird news of the week.

Random, funny, or just dam right weird news of the week.

In this section I will bring together a few of the stories which I found across the Internet that got me thinking "How the hell?" or "ha ha" or "sound's like something I would do"

We start our first story in a Dutch prison..now before you start thinking "woah Stewart what the hell?! I thought this was supposed to be funny, not about some crazy knife wielding psycho!" I'm getting to it give me a chance. Anyway, so we are in a Dutch Prison in Breda, Southern Netherlands. The convict, a 35 year old woman decided she clearly didn't want to serve her time locked up after she was held over an "unspecified violent crime" Don't you just love that, the fact it's unspecified, either it was too gruesome to publish or they don't know if she committed the crime. To me most justice systems seem to "over complicate the matter" I bet I could easily solve it, it was colonel mustard, in the library with a candlestick. See how hard is that?..Anyway where were I, ah right, yes, the women clearly was a criminal of the highest caliber and decided to break out...not so much break out than dig...and I use the term dig loosely. The fact this women decided to dig herself out of the prison must require knowledge, determination and a spoon. Yes that's right she dug her way out with a spoon. Correct me if Im wrong, but I think she must have seen The Shawshank Redemption and thought, what a GENIUS PLAN! It is still said that she is on the run. Seriously though these films should come with a don't try this at home/or in prison. I mean the amount of films Iv seen, if they had any direct affect over influencing my actions..lets just say id be some weird crossed bread, boxing doll wizard lycan robot chicken mouse fish thing.. that's suffers from schizophrenia and has a habit of falling down stairs a lot..that's the problem with being part fish, it's a whole new environment you see, also that it's a doll too.

My next funny clippet is about a certain gifted individual who can distinguish between different hoovers, purely based on sound alone! What's probably more interesting (more than the story itself) is his name is James Brown.
He does this specific skill by being blindfolded first then a getting someone to turn the hoovers on. Iv heard the recording myself of him carrying this out it's, somewhat different. He goes int great detail about each model. If you too have a hoover addiction you might want to watch this clip I found on youtube, it may help. And remember, your not alone aha, actually no you are. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O8D8aVKp3Wo

This next story has you saying to yourself "What the hell were you thinking?!" A 62 year old man was driving his lorry, unfortunately along his journey he found a mechanical failure which then led to him breaking down. Luckily the sharp minded man decided to use a trick up his sleeve, he got his horse to tow his truck. Yes that's right he tied the tow rope up to the horse in hope the horse would guide him on his way. Only difficulty with this being, the man had drunk so much that he was unable to steer the heavy lorry and steered it into the path of an oncoming vehicle. The lorry was then tippled onto it's side. Luckily for both occupants of the vehicles (including the horse) remained uninjured.
The man was reported to have started yelling at the horse saying "This is all your fault!!"
He was later charged with animal cruelty and being intoxicated whilst at the wheel.
I often wonder to myself how people like this come up with these ideas? Maybe he mixed up the horse tranquilizer...
I'm going to stop writing now In dyer need of some sleep, peace out and have a great week don't forget to add me on Facebook.

What tones you on?..Yes this is about music - When do you think was the most influential point in music history?

I want to start a debate now for my second topic, it came to me the other day, after seeing the Brit awards, when was the most influential time in music history, to inspire today's artists and music trends?
I thought to myself looking back at popular artists of the time, from the 1960's you have the likes of The Rolling stones, The Beatles, James Brown. The 70's we had Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, KISS, The Bee Gees. The 80's brought us Michael Jackson, Queen, Madonna just to name a few. The 90's saw the increase in specific genres becoming more popular, hip hop started to flourish and develop it's own set of wings with popular artists at the forefront, MC Hammer, 2Pac and public enemy carrying the flag, opening the way to a new breed of music.
This wasn't the only genre to take on a new look, rock swiftly came along with alternative rock, some of the artists still take high position in many people's CD collection, familiar artists such as Red Hot Chilli Peppers, R.E.M and Nirvana. Nirvana also bringing grunge to the listeners ear, unfortunately saw a decline after Britpop was released in retaliation against this.
We then had the infamous 00's, which saw the technological revolution vastly increase. Artists that set the tone at this time were, The White Stripes, Outkast, Coldplay and Eminem. This became the time when there were varying extremes of music within the charts, which showed that audience tastes are much more spread out on the musical genre spectrum.

With the variety of different artists iv listed here it's difficult for me to say specifically when the most influential time in music history was, I think I would have to say the 80's, but that is just my personal preference, I'm sure there are a multitude of factors as to why I say that, possibly because I was brought up having to listen to the likes of Madonna and Michael Jackson..not sure that's the right combination, I mean come on one was extremely promiscuous and the other had a major inferiority complex. (Hell I could have turned into a Neurotic sex addict..coul have I said.)
The 80's did allow a greater adaptation of music to follow, I think this was the essential foundation for the music we have now. Though some may say the music we have now currently in the top 40 is just a combination of the same rhythmic syntheised rubbish, but that just depends on the music you like. Personally I would have to say that the music industry then may have been slightly more difficult to enter into, what with the limited media output on offer, as opposed to now in that the Internet is a much more efficient tool to be used to get new upcoming artist's recognition. Maybe that's why there aren't as many significant artists these days, don't get me wrong there are a lot of talented artist's but in terms of quality to quantity ratio we have probably lost the ability to spot TRUE talent. Social media bases such as Myspace, Facebook and twitter, allowing a greater advertising and link to the music industry allows greater saturation, but of what? You only have to look at X-Factor to see how effortless it is. It's as if we have put a fast forward button on the longevity of these artists which some barely last a year then we never hear from again, sort of takes the term '15 minutes of fame' a bit too literal.

The question I'm putting forward here is when was the most influential time in music history? why do you think this? and what do you think we will see in the next ten years? Please leave your comments, much appreciated.
Have a good Monday morning I'm off to get some sleep before the night shift.. great. Don't forget to add me on Facebook.

Random Chronicles

Ok so here are a few of my random thoughts. These will be made up of past event's, current idea's, funny thing's iv seen/heard, thing's I want to do/see, questions, or even random one liners. Whatever it is that I type here will be completely random for everyone to read and interact with, I mean this is the Internet and therefore advocate freedom of speech.
Whilst your reading why don't you send in your random thoughts to me then I could put my ideas across about them..It will be like 'hooking' up every ones brainpower, in order to generate a fundamental idea for the vast majority to read.

Lets get this started with the aptly named topic 1
The first idea which comes to mind is spam. Not the edible kind yet I'm sure I could fill a few paragraphs as why not to eat spam, but the mail which is deemed 'junk' mail and sent to your junk folder.
What's rather funny about this is the fact that 80% of these spam emails are usually fraudulent scammers trying to phish your details, or get you to buy this amazing new wonder drug which allows you to lose 12 stone (168lbs) in 3 days..
Correct me if I'm wrong but surely there has to be a setup for this, I mean do the hackers that come up with this stuff sit around a big ass board room/camp fire, throwing out these ideas to one another so each can critique? Surely they are capable of coming up with better ideas. I imagine it goes something like "Desmond! Desmond! quick come here, I got an idea, we can send out an email to everyone telling them to buy penis enlargement pills, surely everyone wants a bigger penis..right?" and yet this doesn't seem to trigger any form of logic..To give you an idea as to the type of lengths and tactics they use I searched the net and came across this fraudulent email which I found at: http://www.scamletters.com/funnyscams5.html

This was one of the more 'well thought out' ideas I came across!
There seems to be a rather growing trend in these type of scams which are mostly generated from Nigerian facilities or accompanied by a specific tribe which are local to Nigeria situated all over the world.
These sort of 'cyber terrorists' work on an underground level, working alongside other hackers. They aren't stereotypically Nigerian, neither are they idiots, well majority are but you will find a few which are rather tricky to spot from the real thing. Take for example it's common for these people to use a companies name and ask you to verify your details, or your name address etc, but with this allows them to open up endless opportunities to take out loans in your name, bleed you dry of any savings you might have stashed away or even use your ID for illegal activity ie human trafficing.
The way they manage to get our details are generally through details being sold on to these people in form of CD's with email addresses and any other sort of identifiable information.
The only way to stop these is by questioning everything, does my credit card company really want my sensitive information sent over an email? it may sound silly and pretty obvious but at the time they use certain tricks known as psychological emtoional blocks (PEB) which inhibits rational thinking.
Poor Ann's ailment is an example of how they use PEB to pluck at your heart strings. Sometimes they aren't as emotive and go for the greed factor and say you have won the Nigerian lottery! fantastic...wait a minute. So your asking me for $17,000 and yet iv won $18.5million. Then another email, ahh it seems his uncle has passed away and he wants to transfer a cut of his inheritance over to me, looks like the drinks are on me tonight!
It does beg the question, has anyone ever fallen for one of these scams, I mean one of these that iv stated saying you have won the Nigerian lottery or you have to help poor little Anni.
There was a story a couple of months back where a fellow Internet user became fed up with receiving these type of emails and took the action upon him to scam the scammers. Now if you didn't hear of this it involved him contacting the scammers in reply to the email they sent, promising he would release funds from his account etc under one condition, that they take a picture of themselves holding up a sign.. Now if you don't know what I mean take a head over to: http://www.419eater.com/html/trophy_room.htm
check out some of the photos there, pretty funny.
Be more conscious about what you are reading, is it really what you think it is, or is Desmond sat at his computer desk waiting for another victim to fall to his dreadful exploit?
Join in with the craze and become a 419 scambaiter.
Well that's my first random topic over, please leave your comments etc.
